Multi event winner and owner Ludde Ingvall and co-skipper Dave Witt will again attempt to win the race on board the former 'Nicorette'.
This sophisticated 80-foot water-ballasted maxi blew her line honours opposition away in the 2000 Sydney Hobart race and finished second across the line after running into a massive twister off the coast of Eden in 2001.
Ludde Ingvall, a former world maxi champion and two-time Fastnet winner, has spent this year competing overseas and after a five year absence from one of his own favourite ocean challenges has again assembled a winning local and international crew for this year's race.
